Visit to Atlanta (part 1)

You should never, ever, ever, cut your own bangs with tiny scissors. Even if you have graduated from art school and this thought emboldens you.

I have met some very nice people in Atlanta!

I have run into some old friends.

The High Museum was surprisingly spacious, (except for those tiny little cafes).

I am totally digging David Foster Wallace right now. I want to change my Facebook name to Lenore.

More comments later. Including thoughts on the woman that freaked out today in the 1988 portion of the Fast Forward exhibit. Some discussion of the exhibit here.

  1. It was a great pleasure to meet you in that tiny cafe at the High Museum of Art. They really need to do something about that, and it’s not like they don’t have room somewhere else in the building. I wish you pleasure and success with your own art.

    • Thanks, David. It was a pleasure to meet you too. Perhaps for this reason, cafe’s should not be made larger. Perhaps it facilitates better community to share a table.

I enjoy your blog too and look forward to reading more posts. Good luck with your writing.
